allstars

At long last our small bear and my loving spouse have returned from the land of soft dirt infields, and smooth green- groomed outfields. The team ended fourth place, winning two games, one against Kenai, the other against Kodiak. The other team Homer played (Dimond-West) beat us twice. (There is no baned substance rule for little leaguers)
Summer is a joyous time and I hope all the the clans are happy and healthy. Da Bears

Hey, 4th place is not bad for a "little poe-dunk hamlet by the sea", they took care of those teams that were more size orientated in population to draw from. They should ban LA from all sports except within the borough of LA. The picture of her in uniform is worth a thousnad words, sure looks like her mama when she is playing ball.
As a side note, still have a lot of firewood, at least a dozen boxes of "prime" pro-cured / borax eggs for silver season and really appreciate the use of your coffee pot last night, it looks like a real campo coffee pot now - black!

I was impressed with the Homer team, as they were NOT intimidated by Kodiak rumors of giants on their team. Although there seemed to be a big Samoan influence to the line-up and they came on strong in the 1st inning, they were squabs and fell to our soft-spoken team.
